The definitive compendium of hand tools: illustrations and implementation

This book was created at a winter residency at Penland School of Arts & Crafts in 2007. I revere tools and the ability to create and empower us but it is also a critique of our abuse of them in overusing our natural resources. All the text is handset in Baskerville and Bembo. Brown ink is used for the tools and light blue ink creates the subtext of the many uses (practical and absurd) for the tools and the interior created the heart of the book.
